How much does a private chef cost in Verbier?
A private chef with Mountain Chefs starts from €600 a night, for a week of dinners, off-peak, for your whole group (up to 10 adults). Food and drink are extra and are reimbursed at cost, with receipts. The instant quote gives your exact price for your dates, group size and service.
When should I book?
As early as you can for Christmas, New Year and February half term, when the best chefs are booked first. For other weeks, a few weeks’ notice is usually fine. Get a quote and we’ll check which chefs are free for your dates.
Can you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes. Tell us about any allergies, intolerances or diets when you book, and your chef will plan every menu around them.
We’re a big group. Can you help?
Yes. Groups of 11 or more adults have a host alongside the chef, and we can provide two chefs for the largest parties.
Do you really cover Verbier? I thought you were in France.
Yes. Mountain Chefs is a UK booking service, and we arrange independent, freelance chefs who work in Verbier. You book and pay your deposit with us as usual, and prices are in euros. Food and drink tend to cost more in Switzerland than in France; you pay exactly what your chef spends, with receipts.
